What are the requirements of precision CNC machining for materials?

In fact, not all materials can be processed by precise numerical control. Some materials have too high hardness, some even exceed the hardness of the machine itself, so it is easy to damage the machine tool. Therefore, these materials with relatively high hardness are not suitable for precise numerical control processing, except for parts made of special materials or other processing methods, such as laser cutting Cut and so on.

There are two kinds of materials for precision CNC machining: metal materials and non-metal materials. For common metal processing materials, the hardness of stainless steel is relatively high, followed by cast iron, then copper alloy, and finally aluminum alloy, while ceramic and plastic materials are all non-metal materials;

For some types of industries, the higher the material of parts is, the better it is. However, it is limited to the rigidity of processing machinery. The processed material cannot be too hard. If the hardness itself exceeds the range that the machine can process, it cannot be processed

In some industries, the softer the material selection is, the better the material selection is, and some of them are lower than the rigidity of machining machine tools, but they are still in the machinable anti-counterfeiting of CNC machine tools. Therefore, the reasonable selection of machining materials can determine the later processing technology;

Therefore, the requirements of precision CNC machining on materials still exist. Not all materials are suitable for CNC machining. Materials that are too soft or too hard are not necessary for machining, and will also affect the finished products after machining. The situation that they cannot be machined also exists. Therefore, before machining, we must analyze the density of materials. If the density is too large, it will be disguised The hardness is also relatively large. If the hardness exceeds the processing hardness of the machine tool itself, it cannot be processed. This will not only damage the parts, but also cause some dangers, such as tool breakage. Therefore, the hardness of the material to be processed should be lower than that of the machine tool, so that it can be processed.
